2001 September 11 - As the attacks were occurring, the Carlyle Group was having a conference at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Washington, DC with members of the Bin Laden family, one of their investors, and General Mahmud, who allegedly financed the attack was meeting with members of the House and Senate Intelligence Committees, and according to Senator Bob Graham, who attended the meeting, General Mahmud had just received a gift (a book about the American Civil War) from Rep. Porter Goss &emdash; then Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and a former CIA agent who would go on to become CIA Director in 2004.

2001 September 11- "Agency planned drill for plane crash last Sept. 11." "... one US intelligence agency [NRO, National Reconnaissance Office] was planning an exercise last Sept. 11 [2001] in which an errant aircraft crashed into one of its buildings." Honegger states that Dick Cheney was ultimately in charge of the NRO exercise on the morning of 9/11. He was in the White House Situation Room for that purpose. - The Associated Press, 22 August 2002.

2001 September 11 7:00 AM - Israelis in the vicinity of the WTC are forewarned of the attacks and Mossad agents were positioned to document the attacks. Did those tapping the phone tapping system connect the dots the FBI and CIA failed to do?

2001 September 11 8:13 AM - American Airlines Flight 11 is instructed by air traffic controllers at the FAA's Boston Center, in Nashua, New Hampshire, to climb to 35,000 feet. The plane did not obey the order and its transponder was turned off. Air traffic control manager Glenn Michael said, "we considered it at that time to be a possible hijacking."

2001 September 11 8:40 AM - 'Hubbub' at NEADS Headquarters initially mistaken by Commander Robert Marr as a NORAD training exercise (presumably Vigilant Guardian). Mike Ruppert believes the exercise was intended to confuse NORAD to make a "stand-down" order unnecessary. Even if a stand-down order were issued by Cheney, he could justify it by saying any shoot-down over the area would have resulted in additional loss of life on the ground and he had no way of knowing the WTC 1 and WTC 2 would collapse merely as a result of fire.

2001 September 11 8:46:40 AM - American Airlines Flight 11 allegedly hits WTC 1 (North Tower). It was a Boeing 767-223 ER on a scheduled flight from Boston to Los Angeles with 81 passengers, nine flight attendants and two pilots. Most of the fuel is oxidized external to WTC 1.

2001 September 11 8:48 - The first media reports of Flight 11's crash into the World Trade Center began when CNN broke into its regular programming at that time. Media members traveling in the Bush caravan and at the Emma T. Booker Elementary School, Sarasota, Florida are informed of the crash.

2001 September 11 9:00 - The Bush party arrive at Emma T. Booker Elementary School, Sarasota, Florida. There are at least four reports that Bush was told of the first crash before he arrived at the school. Given that it was classified as a hijacking, Bush's limo was full of phones and electronic equipment, and Karl Rove, Bush's "chief political strategist," who presumably was riding with Bush, used a wireless e-mail device on 9/11 as well, there seems to have been ample opportunity and the means to alert Bush. Bush knew the U.S. was under attack before he entered the school.

2001 September 11 - The CIA is Running Simulation of a Plane Crashing into a Building. Most interceptors from the northeast are in Canada and Alaska for war games. With as many as 22 hijacked planes of undetermined origin on radar, interception is impossible for the 8 remaining fighters in the northeast. During the morning of 9/11, five U.S. sponsored war games were taking place, some involving "live-fly" exercises where actual aircraft were simulating the behavior of hijacked airliners in real life, which successfully paralyzed the FAA, NORAD and the Air Force ("Is this real world or an exercise?" - Co Robert M. Marr Jr, Northeast Air Defense Sector. "We have reports of 11 aircraft off course ..." - FAA Administrator Jane Garvey. "We didn't know how many more were there. - Lt. Col. William E. Glover Jr., NORAD Air Defense Operations.) from using the same Standard Operating Procedure they had applied between 09/00 and 06/01 when they successfully launched fighters on 67 occasions to escort wayward aircraft (FAA 08/09/02). -- "Crossing the Rubicon, The Decline of the American Empire at the End of the Age of Oil" by Michael Ruppert. Cheney: "The orders still stand" as Flight 77 approaches the Pentagon with no action taken to defend it Secretary of Transportation Norman Mineta was in the Presidential Emergency Operating Center with Vice President Cheney as Flight 77 approached Washington, D.C. On May 23, 2003, in front of the 9/11 Commission, Secretary Mineta testified: "During the time that the airplane was coming in to the Pentagon, there was a young man who would come in and say to the Vice President, "The plane is 50 miles out." "The plane is 30 miles out." And when it got down to "the plane is 10 miles out," the young man also said to the Vice President, "Do the orders still stand?" And the Vice President turned and whipped his neck around and said, "Of course the orders still stand. Have you heard anything to the contrary? Other discussion.

2001 September 11 9:02:40 AM - United Airlines Flight 175, slams into the southwest face of WTC 2 (South Tower), creating an impact hole that extends from the 78th to 84th floor. It was allegedly a Boeing 767-222 on a scheduled flight from Boston to Los Angeles with 56 passengers, 7 flight attendants and 2 pilots. Most of the fuel is oxidized external to WTC 2.

2001 September 11 9:03 AM - President Bush is in the Emma T. Booker Elementary School, Sarasota, Florida listening to children read when Chief of Staff Andrew Card allegedly whispered in Bush's ear, "A second plane hit the second tower. America is under attack." President Bush sat for well over 5 minutes, doing nothing while 3,000 people were dying and the attacks were still in progress. The Secret Service also did nothing. Bush was appearing in public at a previously announced photo-op. He was a sitting duck.

By staying, he not only endangered his own life, but also the lives of all of those children. Wouldn't it be better to risk upsetting them than to risk letting them die in a terror attack? Clearly, George knew he would not be attacked.

 

 

Bush smiled and chatted with the children "as if he didn't have a care in the world" and "in the most relaxed manner imaginable." White House aide Gordon Johndroe, then came in as he usually does at the end of press conferences, and said, "Thank you, press. If you could step out the door we came in, please." A reporter then asked, "Mr. President, are you aware of the reports of the plane crash in New York? Is there anything...", But Bush interrupted, and no doubt recalling his order, "DON'T SAY ANYTHING YET," Bush responded, "I'll talk about it later." But still the president did not leave. "He stepped forward and shook hands with [classroom teacher] Daniels, slipping his left hand behind her in another photo-op pose. He was taking his good old time. ... 2001 September 11 9:33 AM - American Airlines Flight 77 makes a radical 270-degree turn to avoid striking the front of the Pentagon, where Rumsfeld and the Joint Chiefs reside, and strikes a relatively uninhabited and recently reinforced section of the Pentagon occupied by accountants and investigators. It was a Boeing 757-200.

 

Mystery object: The plane that hit the Pentagon isn't seen in any photographs. Some ask if it existed at all, including French analysts who determined that at least two frames are missing from the Pentagon video. A subsequent analysis supports the crash of a Boeing 757-200 by introducing the fact that much of its wing is made from carbon fiber. Why not publish the serial numbers of recovered aircraft parts to confirm it was Flight 77?   Within minutes of the blast, all security camera tapes are immediately confiscated from a Nexcom/Citco gas station (open only to Department of Defense personnel) and a Double Tree Inn, and presumably all six Pentagon cameras with a view of the scene. WTC Fires

Most of the jet fuel was consumed in the fireball immediately following the impact. The WTC fires did not exceed 800 degrees F. Steel in open air fire does not get hot enough to melt, yet molten metal is seen pouring from the building. Thermite: Iron sulfate plus aluminum (Fe2O3 + 2Al) + ignition yields intense heat, molten iron and aluminum sulfate (Al2-O3). Brigham Young University physicist, Prof. Steven Jones: Yellow molten metal and yellow ash are signatures of thermite. Samples examined with proton induced X-ray emission and electron microprobe detected Iron, sulfur, potassium and maganese in ratios characteristic of thermate, which cuts metal faster than thermite sulfur plus potassium permanganate. Thermate is Thermite plus sulfur, which lowers melting point and accelerates results. Evidence of thermate found in WTC dust. Applying the scientific method to 911 (thoroughly scientific - must read). WTC Secondary Explosions are evidence of demolition. Many video and audio recordings of multiple explosion and molten metal testimony. All such evidence has been removed from YouTube.

The basements had to be collapsed to make room for the rubble from the demolition of the above ground floors so it would not expand sideways into buildings that were to be preserved. Here's the explosion that did it. Here are the squids that collapsed one Tower into its basement.

2001 September 11 9:58:59 AM - The 1362 foot high WTC 2 South Tower disintegrates into its basement in 10 seconds when at least 31 seconds are required for the pancake theory to be valid. Video frame 147 highlights the first obvious explosion at floor 79 and the area of where a second explosion will appear at floor 75, followed by frame 203 that highlights both explosions. If these were caused by air being forced from the windows as the floors above collapsed, such lines of dust would have been expelled from the windows of each floor in succession (79, 78, 77, 76 and 75). These asymmetric explosions cause the upper 30 or so floors to topple as a unit outlined in red in frame 001. Buildings normally topple when they collapse as the top of WTC 2 begins to do. The top unit of floors must be disintegrating, due to demolition, otherwise at least its steel core would have extended into parts of the building that are clearly unaffected by the collapse at this moment. The lower structure was accustomed to supporting the upper structure, and was designed with a safety factor of six, so it could support six such units of material. The upper unit is disintegrating into dust, much of which falls away from the lower structure, reducing its static load. While the crumbling upper unit is adding dynamic load to the lower structure, the load is distributed and dispersed, hence one would expect the lower structure to remain standing. At worst, given the asymmetric damage, the tops of WTC 1 and 2 should have toppled. If WTC 1 collapsed symmetrically, then at most 5.3 floors of the upper section and 5.3 floors of the lower section should have compressed to absorb the impact of a free-fall of the upper section into the lower section the distance of one floor.

2001 September 11 9:59 AM - Firemen hear squids firing, "bang, bang, bang, bang, bang", and the 1368 foot high WTC 1 North Tower collapses into its basement in 8 seconds. Like the South Tower, horizontal explosions of dust and debris occur just above the red line on frame 041. These continue their expansion through subsequent frames as shown in oscillating animation of frames 001 and 067.

Note the explosion half-way up that section in frame 67. Note also that the radio tower sinks into the upper floors faster than the floors disintegrate, indicating that the core is disintegrating faster than the external structure, before striking the lower structure. Again, one would expect the lower floors to sustain the disintegration with at least the momentum of their mass. The core would have certainly remained intact if it were not compromised by demolition charges.

Far below the collapse are jets of debris that include large chunks of concrete from the demolition of core structure as shown in the photo by Jerry Torrens/AP (The Ground Zero Grassy Knoll by Mark Jacobson). The destruction of the core must proceed that of the external structure to assure that the building collapses inward, minimizing damage to surrounding buildings: the goal of all demolitions. Such a jet is also shown in the Jim Collins/AP photo below.

 

The "puff of smoke" about 20 floors below the cascade of falling floors is suspicious, but could be explained by a bad pour of concrete shattering under the shock of the cascade, and exploding through the windows. However, there are two jets of exploding debris on two different floors in another photo, and a consistent series of concrete jets all the way down the building the same distance ahead of the collapse in other videos (Woolworth building, ABC News views). The puffs indicate charges meant to shatter the massive central core of the building, which should have been the last structure standing after the floor collapse in the PBS documentary, "Why the Towers Fell" simulation (from FEMA report) shown above. This plus the collapse time near the free fall time of 9.6 seconds lends credence to the controlled demolition theory. The 911 Mysteries video includes great shots from near the base of the towers looking up at the collapse. Pay close attention to the ejecta from the core explosions well ahead of the falling debris and the perimeter explosions immediately in front of the debris.

Pools of molten iron were found at the base of the towers. Appendix C of the FEMA report describe iron oxide and sulfur oxide found on walls. The NY Times called this "the deepest mystery of all." An EMT in the basement confirms explosions, molten metal and compromised columns.

Demolition expert: "We blow the basement - all the columns in the basement. Then we crack it up at the top to get it started. We go every other floor ... all the way down."

2001 September 11, ? AM - Cause of collapse implanted in public consciousness immediately after the collapse of WTC 1 and 2. Why did Fox News interview the one "person on the street," who happened to delineate the structural-failure-due-to-fires theory before it was a theory? He sounds like his is reciting a script. When Ted Kopel asks if it is possible that a plane crash could have collapsed the buildings, or were pre-planted explosives required, he was immediately told of plane full of fuel was sufficient to cause each of the WTC 1 and 2 buildings to "collapse on itself" due to fire weakening structural steel. When Ted asked if it is possible for an attack so sophisticated to be done without Iraq, Iran, Syria or Libya being involved, he set the stage for the invasion of Iraq and was told the attack had "finger prints of somebody like bin Ladin", implicating bin Ladin over anyone else long before there was any alleged evidence.

2001 September 11, 4:00 PM - "Middle Eastern men" seen cheering the crash are arrested and found to be Mossad agents. They were held, interrogated and deported to Israel. Three of them were later interviewed on Israel television.

2001 September 11 4:54 PM - Assuming it is correct, Time Stamp Confirms BBC Reported WTC 7 Collapse 26 Minutes In Advance, so the BBC had to know WTC 7 was going to collapse nearly an hour in advance of the event.

2001 September 11, 5:00 PM - Emergency personnel are aware of impending implosion of WTC 7.

2001 September 11, 5:10-5:20 (FEMA) PM - WTC 7 collapses into its basement in 6.5 seconds. Enron stock fraud and California swindle evidence disappears with WTC 7. Silvestein later contradicted his clearly recorded statement, and said he was talking about pulling the firemen from the WTC 7 when there were none inside.

Aftermath

Bush: "9-11 provides great opportunities for us." ... Where "us" are the neocons and their Project for a New American Century.

It would have been more convenient if there were a direct link between 9-11 and Iraq, but once Americans were motivated for revenge by the 9-11 incident, it took only an excuse to invade Iraq. If nuclear weapons in the region were the excuse, the U.S. should have invaded Israel, Pakistan or India. Bogus WMD threats did not push the polls high enough to motivate Congress, but saving Iraqis from the dictator who held the country together with brute force did. The neocons got their invasion to destabilize the Middle East, and defense contractors got a new lease on life. The quote by Randolph Bourne, "War is the health of the State," should be amended to: "War is the health of the State, its military, its contractors and their weapons merchants."

Then there is the long relationship between the Bush family and the Saudis in general and the bin Laden family in particular. I would not be surprised that Osama agreed to be get the flight crews, and be the patsy in exchange for a high ranking position in the Saudi government when it is handed to the bin Ladins after the U.S. consolidates its power in the Middle East. In the mean time the CIA helps their previous and perhaps current employee, Osama avoid capture by the U.S. military.

From ideology to stocks and contracts, many more Americans benefited and continue to benefit from 9-11 than the number who died in it.

2001 September 27 - There were no Arabs on the passenger list of Flight 77, yet the FBI published photographs of the alleged hijackers, a month before the autopsies were done on 11/16/01.

2007 April 27 - White House and Pentagon officials, and particularly Vice President Dick Cheney, were determined to attack Iraq from the first days of the Bush administration, long before the Sept. 11 attacks, and repeatedly stretched available intelligence to build support for the war, according to CIA director George Tenet in his book, "At the Center of the Storm," saying they pushed the country to war in Iraq without ever conducting a "serious debate" about whether Saddam Hussein posed an imminent threat to the United States. "There was never a serious debate that I know of within the administration about the imminence of the Iraqi threat," Mr. Tenet writes in a devastating judgment that is likely to be debated for many years. Nor, he adds, "was there ever a significant discussion" about the possibility of containing Iraq without an invasion. "Cheney and Rumsfeld inserted 'crap' into public justifications for war." A speech by Cheney "went well beyond what our analysis could support." The speech charged, among other things, that Saddam had restarted his nuclear program and would "acquire nuclear weapons fairly soon ... perhaps within a year." Caught off-guard by the remarks, which had not been cleared by the CIA, Tenet says he considered confronting the vice president on the subject but did not.
